Geoelectric Surveys

The geoelectric methods of surveying aim to rebuild the structures of the subsurface through the measures of the electric fields natural or specially created by an electrical input.
The properties of grounds currently most used are the resistivity and the chargeability (induced polarization); These properties allow us to reconstruct one-dimensional models (Polls Electric Vertical), two-dimensional models (tomography measurements on linear multi-electrode profiles) and three-dimensional models (tomography measures of aerial electrode array). The instrumentation and software available, allow the application of the following methods:

– Vertical Electrical Surveys;
– Profiles of resistivity;
– Tomography of resistivity and induced polarization;
– Development of three-dimensional multi-electrode tomography from aerial array;
– Aerial Measurement of resistivity and induced polarization.
